Safety

At Northern Industrial Construction, safety is foundational to every project. We believe safe worksites are positive, productive environments, and our culture empowers workers to actively contribute to a safer workplace. Our goal is to build safe, operable facilities while minimizing errors that impact quality, cost, or schedule.

We are proud to be COR certified in all three territories and are dedicated to protecting the health and safety of our workers, subcontractors, clients, the public, and the environment. Our adaptable Health and Safety Management System is designed to meet operational needs while maintaining the highest safety standards.

Since 2023, we’ve partnered with Target Zero as an independent safety consultant to oversee our program. We use Site Docs software to streamline safety management and ensure strong communication between field and office teams.

Supervisors and management work together to identify site-specific safety needs, conduct inspections and investigations, and ensure clear hazard communication.

Workers and contractors are expected to take responsibility for their own safety performance—following procedures, using proper PPE, reporting hazards, and participating in regular training and meetings. Everyone on a Northern Industrial site plays a role in maintaining a safe, respectful, and proactive workplace.

We care as much about safety as we do about quality. Our mission is to deliver services efficiently while ensuring a healthy, injury-free environment for all.
